Vino Libro
October 29th, 2008
We’re not in Atlanta often, but when we are, we like to chillax with a glass (or carafe) of wine and good company. We also like to support black-owned businesses. Which is why we head to Vino Libro, located in Atlanta’s Glenwood Park neighborhood. It’s a wine shop, internet café, and tapas and wine bar all in one (ahh the joys of multi-tasking), so it serves its purpose at all times of our day. They even have a wine and book club, which you can join for just $30, which covers your bottle, book, free admission to certain nights at the lounge, and discounts on cases to build your home collection. And while we’re happy with the basics that Vino Libro offers, we’re especially delighted to stop by on Bottomless Mondays, during which, for $20, you can choose from a selection of 40 wines and drown your beginning-of-the-week sorrows. If that sounds like too much for you, stop by on the weekend for no cover, live jazz, and a feeling of being oh so grown up. Visit Vino Libro for more information.
