TripIt
November 7th, 2008
We know we’re not the only ones who end up with scraps of papers with misaligned plans, restaurant recommendations and nightlife suggestions when we go on vacation. And we’re certain that we’ve driven friends, family and significant others crazy with pre-trip suggestions, most of which are conveyed via email and (we’re sure) end up being more annoying than helpful. TripIt provides a central locale for all of our vacation plans, which we love to print out in an effort to make keeping our plans much more feasible. Here’s how it works: you email your travel itinerary to TripIt’s site as soon as you book your flight, train ticket, or otherwise. TripIt will build your master itinerary, upon which you can add maps, travel guides, photos, activities, weather forecasts and more. You can invite the people you’re traveling with to have access to your plans, make their own suggestions, or just flat out dispute yours. Once your itinerary is set, you can email it, print it, add it to your personal calendar or mobile device, and get on with the good stuff. Like shopping for new clothes for your trip. Visit TripIt for more information.
