Target Bullseye Bodegas
September 12th, 2008
As much of a pain that Fashion Week can be for those who aren’t actually going to the shows , it does have its perks. After all, living in Manhattan does have one downfall: no Target stores on the island. We know, you residents of other cities think we’re crazy. But we must admit, we love their designer partners that bring fashion and function to the masses at very low prices. For the next 4 days, New Yorkers can too. Target is opening four ‘Bullseye Bodegas’ chock full of their designer collaborations. For those of you who don’t know, Target partners with leading and emerging designers to produce limited edition goods that, for the most part, mimic (with the exception of quality) the things you’d find in higher-end stores from the same designers. So back to the facts: Anya Hindmarch, known for gorgeous high-end purses, Dean Harris, maker of statement jewelry like the peace sign charm bracelet we’ll be rocking soon, and Converse One Star, who stocks Target with cargo shorts and sneakers we can’t exactly distinguish from their ‘regular’ line are all available, among others. Don’t live in the city? You’ll just have to avoid the hassle and shop online or at your local store. But, your convenience comes at a price—New Yorkers will have a preview of designer collaborations not yet released to the masses. New Yorkers, visit Target to locate one of 4 Bullseye Bodegas, open today. Everyone else, visit to shop, or find information about upcoming design partners.
