Shake Shack

Shake Shack, in New York’s Madison Square Park has our favorite burger in the city.  On the East Coast, really.  In fact, we wouldn’t recommend a visit to New York without it.  But while we love the delicious eats, we’ve never quite been fans of all the extras that come with the Shake Shack experience.  The 40 minute to an hour line, the outdoor-only seating (we know they added heat lamps, but who are they kidding? Heat lamps don’t help once the wind chill becomes a factor), or the fact that there was only one location in the city, downtown, and on the East Side (perhaps that contributed to the insane wait?).  Which is why we’re super geeked that the owners of Shake Shack finally got their minds right and opened a second location on the Upper West Side.  With, we might add, quite the slew of BupGrades.  An enclosed café.  An expanded menu.  Special Shake Shack wine.  And a room for private events and parties.  Don’t front, you know you want to invite 50 of your closest friends, get nice and tipsy, then eat all the burgers you can handle. Visit Shake Shack for more information.
