Rakku Shoe Wheel

October 6th, 2008

We love to look at all of our shoes.  Though we dream of having an enormous shoe closet with racks in plain sight, or stacks upon stacks of boxes indexed via Polaroids stuck on the outside, we’re not there yet.  Where we are is a jumbled mess of mates with no mate, shoes we know we have but just can’t seem to find, and over-the-door storage that is really just so offensive (as if our sweaters have any business being that close to the sneakers we walked around in all day yesterday).  We’ve been on the hunt for a decent looking shoe rack that can hold our growing collection, and we found something that maximizes both space and style.  Enter the Rakku Shoe Wheel, which makes finding our shoes a snap.  The wheel holds up to 30 pairs of shoes, has adjustable rotating speed (sometimes we slow it down and watch our fabulousness spin by) and expandable pockets to fit any shoe type.  As pretty as this wheel is, there is a downside.  The Shoe Wheel only holds men’s shoes up to size 11—if your feet are bigger, you’ll have to BupGrade to the Shoe Pod.  Also, you have to assemble the Shoe Wheel yourself, but there are easy-to-follow videos on Rakku’s website to help those of you who are assembly-challenged.  Visit Rakku Designs for more information.
