miShare

Remember back in the day when we were young? And we had tapes? And Walkmans? And double-decker stereos that made making at-home mixtapes a cinch? Well, we love iPods as much as the next person, but we’re not feeling how hard it is to add our friend’s music to our personal library. Who wants to copy or email other people’s songs and then hope that our computer never goes kaput and takes our iTunes library with it? Not us. We’d rather just use miShare, which makes all the downfalls of modern technology null and void. All you need is two iPods, an idea of what songs you want, and a working index finger. You attach the two devices using the miShare gadget, then select which songs, pictures or videos you want to copy from one to the other. To copy a collection of songs, create an On-The-Go Playlist on the lending iPod and miShare that. We will warn you though: miShare respects copyright laws, so while it will copy songs purchased from iTunes, it won’t unlock them until the receiving iPod user officially buys them. Like all good technology, miShare is as fast as a Twista line: each song only takes about 10 seconds to transfer, so you can create a playlist, download it, and go on about your business within a few minutes. Visit miShare for more information.
