For reasons that probably only he understands, Kanye West started a travel website.  Kanye Travel Ventures is, at a cursory glance, a substitute for any other aggregate travel site, providing options for flights, hotels, vacations, cruises and more.  In fact, save the traditional Kanye album cover graphics on the homepage, Kanye Travel Ventures seems pretty staid.  But alas, like any good Kanye awards show speech, surprises await.   Fist, the basics: we compared last minute getaways from New York to Miami Beach with other trusty web sites that scour the web for deals, and we found that Kanye Travel Ventures, came out the loser—but only by a few dollars.  And when we compared hotels in Phoenix, ‘Ye’s site had better deals: in fact, they tout a Best Rate Guarantee for most hotels listed that guarantees a matched price plus a 10% discount for your trouble.  What we like though, are the packages and the activities, and maybe its all in the marketing.  But after perusing last minute deals that included “Champagne Wishes”, which invites you to “indulge in haute cuisine, upscale boutique browsing, and lounging on the beach” in Boca Raton from $279 per person, flight and hotel included, and activities like a private sunset flight over Malibu for $105, we started to think that Kanye’s swagger was within our reach.  So check it out, get away, and have fun: temper tantrum not included.  Visit Kanye Travel Ventures for more information.
