Customized Ralph Lauren Polo

November 3rd, 2008

Polo shirts remind us of high school uniforms, conformity and bad ads that look like diversity recruiting posters.  But we can’t front: sometimes we want to get out preppy on, for old times sake.  Sadly enough, we’re so over the multitude of colors and fits that brands like Lacoste and Penguin have to offer. And to be honest, we hate looking like everyone else.  Which is why we were delighted to play around on the Ralph Lauren Rugby site and design our own (we bypassed the traditional Polo site because their offerings were too conservative).  There aren’t tons of options, but we were able to break out of the boring mold and create a shirt in which we can’t wait to wear.  Here’s how it works: you select your shirt color and size, then get to work picking your chest embroidery, initials (if any) and the colors of those.  Then you add the shirt to your cart, pay for the shirt, wait for it to arrive, then pop your collar.  Visit Ralph Lauren Rugby for more information.
