We don’t mean to sound like winos, but we keep happening upon such great wine finds that we can’t help but to pass them on.  This one is in the heart of New York City, at the Time Warner Center, a place you’ll find yourself–perhaps dejectedly– as a resident or tourist alike.  So you might as well stay for a minute and enjoy it.  And enjoy it you will if you head to Clo wine bar on the 4th floor, a futuristic hangout that is addictive as it is unique.  At Clo, its just you, your table, your pre-paid Clo card, your wine glass and the enomatic station, where you’ll go after you select the wine you’d like to taste.  The tabletop touch screen menu will allow you to browse different wines, learn about their origins and optimal pairings, and check out the illustrations of the bottles.  If you need extra help or explanation, there are sommeliers that are available to answer your questions.  If not, all you do is remember the location of your desired wine, find it, stick in your Clo card, and then drink up.  The only downside we see is in what might happen between your chair and the enomatic station after you’ve downed one too many glasses.  But we just think that will add to the fun.  Clo, 4th floor, Time Warner Center, NYC.  Click here for more information.
