Barack Obama - The End Game

October 14th, 2008

As we’re sure you’ve gathered by now, BupGrade is a huge Obama supporter.  And we like to party.  Which is why we had to pass along this opportunity to both support Barack and get a little mid-week relief.  The End Game is a fundraiser organized by The Soleil Group, The Global Syndicate, Generation Obama and Young & Powerful for Obama, and is at Hiro Ballroom in NYC tonight.  It’s bound to be celebrity and mover-and-shaker filled, with VIP hosts that include Hill Harper, Paula Patton and Robin Thicke, Robert Kennedy III, and DJ Cassidy on the 1s and 2s. So . . .you want to know how you can go, right?  Well, its easy.  All you have to do is donate to Obama’s campaign via The End Game’s site (which is part of the official campaign site).  For $100, you can go, designated a “fan”, but for $500, you can go, drink to your heart’s content at the open bar and stuff your face with complimentary hors d’oeuvres.  And for $1000 (if you’re dropping cash like that midweek, more power to you), you’ll get all of the above, plus the opportunity to contribute to a mural that will be presented to Barack Obama himself.  In all seriousness, we think this event is a great way to (1) network– the crowd will be  diverse, well-connected and driven, and (2) get your monthly contribution in, and (3) learn more about the pressing issues of this election-there will be speakers presenting on economy, environment and hope.  Even if you can’t make it, donate if you can, and don’t forget to register to vote!  Visit BarackObama.com to donate, and register for tickets (picture credit).
