A Casa Home Catering

When you think about it, dinner parties are really more trouble than they’re worth. You plan, you shop, you sweat, and when the guests finally arrive, you still can’t really relax, because you’re too busy making sure everyone is having a good time. Well, its time to fast-forward to the relaxation you feel a couple of drinks into the party. Enter A Casa. They’ll cook Latin food for your most intimate dinner parties, or cater for your corporate event. At any rate, the food is affordable, the plating is ridiculously fabulous, and reading the menu makes us feel like we have the munchies. Speaking of the menu, its divided into cocktail fare—including spiced beef picadillo in plantain cups, spicy black bean cakes with avocado salsa and mini red pepper crab cakes—and dinner fare, which offers dishes such as beer braised marinated beef short ribs, grilled marinated shrimp wrapped in bacon and tequila mousse for dessert. And we must note that their empanadas are so good that they’ve been picked up by gourmet grocery stores. Don’t worry, you can order ready-to-eat minis for just $12 for a dozen. We recommend you pair them with the Sangria, which is rumored to be the best you’ll ever have. Visit A Casa for more information (photo).
